Our global economy runs on two things: energy and materials. We extract raw materials from the Earth, burn fossil fuels to power our industries, and call it progress. GDP—the measure of a nation’s success—is tied directly to how much we extract, produce, and consume. The more we grow, the more we destroy. The more we destroy, the more we need to grow.

It’s a vicious cycle, and it’s killing the planet.

Here’s the hard truth: This system isn’t sustainable. It’s not even logical. It’s a dead end.

We’re burning through finite resources at an alarming rate, destabilizing ecosystems, and pushing the planet to its limits. And for what? To chase a number—GDP—that doesn’t measure what really matters: the health of our communities, the well-being of our planet, or the quality of our lives.

We believe it’s time for a new system.
